Grad Project

My name is Sharissa Bridges and I am doing my graduation project on the media and beauty. My essential question is: How does the media portray the beauty of women and what are the dangerous procedures that women undergo to achieve this vision of “perfection”?
What I am doing is a series of 12 question interviews with different girls of different races, backgrounds, and age groups. I will interview this girls via internet or meet face to face. I will also ask of them to take a photo of themselves holding a sticky note or sign with an encouraging quote about the topic at hand. The photo does not have to show their face if they don't want it to. All interviews are private and will only be seen by me. I will pull one thing I found interesting that you said and attach it to your photo for a scrapbook I am putting together at the end. But I can assure you that names will not be shown.
